Winter Solstice Yin yoga & Sound Healing

20.12.24|7-9pm

The Oakhouse, Hatfield House

The winter solstice is a celebration of the shortest day of the year, signifying the completion of another life cycle. This has long been celebrated as a return back to the light. Longer, lighter and brighter days are coming. This retreat will be about connecting to our inner light through yoga, breathwork and meditation.

The solstice falls just a few days before Christmas, a time when many of us have a diary full of plans and are racing around finding the perfect finishing touches for the days ahead. It’s fun but can be exhausting, often leaving us feeling overwhelmed and drained the days between Christmas and New year. If this sounds familiar, then this workshop is for you!

This workshop offers you a chance to dedicate some time out just for you to reflect, rest and let go of all that pressure. We cannot pour from an empty cup, this is an opportunity to refill, reset and recharge. You and your whole family will benefit from you taking this time out for yourself!

Winter is the time that nature pauses to take rest. Mother Nature shows us the way to a slower, gentler pace of life. It’s time to remove the pressure as nothing blooms all year round. If we can learn from nature and follow its way not only will we feel more connected to ourselves and our place in the world, but by the time spring comes we will be bursting with inspiration and ready to rise and bloom!
