About Pauntley Court

Set in stunning countryside, Pauntley Court, dating back to the 1300's, offers a tranquil escape in an idyllic location. Steeped in history, it is the birthplace of Dick Whittington and was home to Elinor Fettiplace. The house is full of character and offers luxury accommodation with far reaching views across the surrounding countryside.

Just two hours from London and only one hour from Bristol and Birmingham, Pauntley Court is perfectly located for a weekend of yoga and an abundance of fresh air and nature.

Retreat programme

The first class will be on Friday evening, followed by a delicious dinner. Emma will then lead you through two classes on the Saturday, a more dynamic morning class to align to body and breath and an afternoon practice to delve deeper into the postures and relax and restore.

On Sunday there will be a morning practice before breakfast, another shorter class before lunch and the end of the retreat.

Arrival time on Friday 10 February is from 4pm onwards. The first yoga session will be at 5.30pm. The weekend will finish on Sunday 12 February after lunch at 2pm.

Things to do

Each day after morning yoga and a healthy breakfast, there will be time to explore the surrounding area on a country walks. Or take a stroll in the exquisite gardens, choose a bench to read your book, or simply get lost in the views.

There will be massages on offer or you can curl up on one of the sofas in from of the open fire and enjoy an afternoon nap.

Accommodation at Pauntley Court

The luxurious rooms are spacious, light and offer an extremely comfortable haven to relax and rest in. All rooms are very well appointed and most are either en-suite or have their own private bathroom. Two rooms share a bathroom.

Delicious healthy food will be served throughout the retreat. All meals will be vegetarian delights to nourish body and soul.
