A 9 night/ 10 day Yoga Tour through Lush and Tropical Kerala
Join Jess and Emma as they collaborate again to journey through Kerala, the stunning South Western State in India – renowned for its lush and tropical scenery. We will Practice yoga and meditation daily and explore the state with a mixture of movement and stillness. Soaking up the beautiful scenery and culture.
We are working with an amazing local guide who has been leading yoga tours in India for over 15 years and he and his team will make sure all of our needs are taken care of. We have together worked to curate a schedule that feels spacious and yet allows us to see the best that the area has for us to enjoy. With a mixture of the stunning town of Cochin, lush UNESCO world Heritage nature and wild life reserves and Back waters as well as visiting the stunning coast. It is our intention to give you a trip filled with moments of connection, presence and discovery.
We will be staying in 4-star beautiful hotels, all with dedicated yoga spaces for us and swimming pools and amenities. Enjoying locations famous for their local cuisine and with hotels renowned for their reputation and their on-going collaborations with our tour guide.

WHY Choose this Retreat with Jess and Emma?
Jess and Emma have been working together to create a space for people to connect to them selves through the power of yoga for over 5 years with retreat offerings, teacher trainings & mentoring for yoga teachers.
They have combined over 20 years of teaching experience and are passionate about guiding people to embrace the magic & power of yoga and making yoga accessible to as many people as possible.
First 2 nights in Cochin
The first night will be a chance to land and ground where you will enjoy a gentle welcome practice & dinner. During our time in Cochin between practices we will explore Fort Kochi, and leisurely time to explore the local markets etc.
2 nights in Thekkady
We then travel to Thekkady where we will drive through the lush Western Ghats - one of the world's biodiversity hotspots! During our time in Thekkady we will enjoy a visit to a spice plantation, A lake safari through the Periyar Wildlife Reserve which takes you through a tiger reserve. You can see wildlife such as elephants, bison, deer, and exotic birds along the lush shoreline.
5 nights in Alleppey
We then journey to Alleppey which is home to Kerala's legendary backwater landscape. Our first visit in the area is to Vembanad Lake which is said to be the Venice of the East and the heart of Kerala's backwater country. We will also enjoy a Keralan cooking class, learning to prepare traditional local dishes. One of the evenings will include a sunset cruise on a traditional keralan rice boat where we will glide through the backwater canals as the sun sets over Vembanad Lake.
Lake Safari Thekkady
We will have a full day cruise through the famous backwater canals.We will board a blue jelly ultra luxury houseboat which is regarded as one of the finest houseboat experiences in Kerala. We will spend the day drifting through narrow waterways flanked by coconut palms and village life. Lunch will be served on board by a private chef.
Final day
Our last day will be spent in Mararikulam - a pristine, unspoilt fishing village beach on the Keralan coast; far from the tourist crowds. An opportunity to enjoy the beautiful village, beach and the rhythms of traditional Kerala coastal life.
